RESOLUTION 2000-062
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, RESCINDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION 2000-49 AND
REPLACING IT WITH A NEW SECTION 3 WHICH READS: "THE CITY
MANAGER IS HEREBY AUTHORUED TO EXECUTE A CHANGE ORDER
TO THE CONTRACT, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, WITH
GMG GENERAL INC. FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $190,241 FOR
THE PAVING OF NUMEROUS CITY PROJECTS It.
WHEREAS, Section 3 of Resolution 2000-49 authorized an incorrect amount for paving of
$140,241; and,
WHEREAS, A replacement section 3 for Resolution 2000-49 should read: "The City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a change order to the contract, on behalf of the City of
Seward, with GMG General Inc. for an amount not to exceed $190,241 for the paving of numerous
City projects ";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Section 3 of Resolution 2000-49 is changed to read: "The City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a change order to the contract, on behalf of the City of Seward, with GMG
General Inc. for an amount not to exceed $190,241 for the paving of numerous City projects ";
Section 2.. This resolution shall take effect' immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 12th day
of June,2000.
