RESOLUTION NO. 87-020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, OPPOSING THE EXTENSION OF MANDATORY
MEDICARE PAYMENTS TO ALL STATE AND LOCAL EMPLOYEES
vlHEREAS, President Reagan has proposed, as a federal
revenue raising measure at the expense of state and local
governments, to extend mandatory Medicare payments to all
state and local employees; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
