RESOLUTION NO. 84-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LOTS 10-12,
BLOCK 1, TERMINAL ADDITION
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council previously approved entering
into negotiations with Mrs. Julia W. Weber for the purchase of Lots 10,
11, and 12, Block 1, Terminal Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council previously found it in the public
interest to accept the City Staff recommended purchase price of $9,000;
and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Weber has agreed to accept the City's offered
price of $9,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously appropriated the
necessary funds to purchase the property; and
WHEREAS, after public input, there were no adverse comments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is directed to complete the
purchase of Lots 10, 11, and 12, Block 1, Terminal Addition, for $9,000,
with funds coming from the previously appropriated Gateway Subdivision
Account.
Section 2. The Statutory Warranty Deed transferring ownership
of the subject property to the City is hereby attached as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein as a part of this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect thirty (30) days
following its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 12th day of March , 1984.

STATUTORY WARRANTY DEED
.
The Grantor, JULIA W. HEBER, of Greenbrae, California, for and in
consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) lawful monev of the
United States of America, and other good and valuable consideration in
hand paid, conveys and warrants to the CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, a home
rule municipality whose address is PO Box 167, Seward, ALaska, 99664,
and to its successors and assigns forever, the following described real
property:
Lots 10, 11, and 12, Block 1, TERMINAL ADDITION,
City of Seward, according to PLAT NO. 6 on file in
the Seward Recording District, Third Judicial
District, State of ALaska.
Together with all and singular, the tenements, hereditaments and

appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anvwise appertaining, and
subject to the rights and reservations expressed in patent to said land,
existing easements for roads, power, lights, and other utilities and
restrictions of record, and to encroachments ascertainable bv physical
inspection of the property.
