CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-153
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ESTABLISHING THE CITY'S LISTING OF
LEGISLATIVE PROJECTS AND PRIORITIES FOR THE 1996 SESSION
WHEREAS, the administration has provided the capital project priorities list for the 1996
State Legislative session; and
WHEREAS, it was determined that the following projects, in the order listed, are the City's
priorities for the coming legislative session:

East Harbor Expansion Planning
Forest Acres Water Well
Retirement Incentive Program
IMS - Arctic Research Vessel
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to take an active role in federal legislative
matters which will promote the well-being of the overall community and region as evidenced by the
federal priority projects listed below:
No. 1 Corps of Engineers Flood Planning, Resurrection River, East
Peninsula
No.2 Seward Highway Rehabilitation Project
No.3 NPS/USFS Combined Visitor Center and Headquarters
No.4 East Harbor Expansion Funding
No.5 National Science Foundation Arctic Research Vessel
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:

RESOLUTION NO. 95-153
Section 1. The attached list of legislative projects, incorporated herein by reference, is
hereby declared to be the official legislative priority list for the City of Seward for the 1996
Legislative Session.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 11th
day of December, 1995.
