RESOLUTION NO. 84-86
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, DEFINING AND DESIGNATING
JESSE LEE HOME HISTORIC DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the goals and benefits of historic preservation and
historic districts have been endorsed by the City Council in Ordinance
No. 519; and
WHEREAS, criteria for selection and designation of histor c
districts have been established in City of Seward Resolution No. 84
and
WHEREAS, the Jesse Lee Home has played a significant role in
Seward's history and development; and
WHEREAS, the Jesse Lee Home meets the criteria set forth in
Resolution No. 84~;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Lot 3, Jesse Lee Heights Subdivision, Addition No.
2, shall be designated the Jesse Lee Home Historic District.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
