RESOLUTION NO. 83-36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, REQUESTING THE SEWARD ZONING ORDINANCE BE AMENDED TO
ALLOW A DWELLING UNIT AS AN ACCESSORY USE IN THE CL, CG AND I ZONES
WHEREAS, the Kenai Peninsula Borough has adopted a Zoning Code for the
City of Seward; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Advisory Planning and Zoning Commission has con-
sidered a proposed amendment to the Seward Zoning Code which would allow the
construction of a dwelling unit as an accessory use by conditional use per-
mit in the Limited Commercial (CL), General Commercial (CC) and Industrial (I)
Zones; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Advisory Planning and Zoning Commission at its
meeting of June 8, 1983 adopted a motion recommending that the City Council
request the Kenai Peninsula Borough initiate the process to make this change
to the Seward Zoning Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, that:
Section 1, The Kenai Peninsula Borough Planning Commission is hereby
requested to initiate a change to Table 21.78.190 of the Seward Zoning Code
which would allow a dwelling unit as an accessory use by conditional use per-
mit in the CL, CG and I zones.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
