HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes2015-016 Sponsored by: Applicant CITY OF SEWARD,ALASKA PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION 2015-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH APPROVAL OF LOT 1A,BLOCK 24,ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF SEWARD, LAWRENCE REPLAT,AT 437 FOURTH AVENUE WHEREAS,Cline and Associates has submitted a preliminary replat to the City of Seward for review and recommendation to the Kenai Peninsula Borough; and WHEREAS,the proposed replat vacates the interior lot lines of Lots 1,2 and 3,Block 24, Original Townsite of Seward,and creates a single parcel to be known as Lot 1A,consisting of 9,000 square feet; and WHEREAS,the properties of this replat are located within the Office Residential Zoning District(OR) and exceed the minimum lot size and lot width as required by City Code; and WHEREAS,the property abuts Fourth Avenue and Madison Street and is currently serviced by municipal water,sewer,electric and other utilities;therefore a subdivision installation agreement is not required for this replat. NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission that: Section 1. The Commission recommends the Kenai Peninsula Borough approve Lot 1A, Block 24,Seward Original Townsite,Lawrence Replat vacating the interior lot lines of Lots 1,2 and 3, Block 24, Original Townsite of Seward, creating a single parcel of approximately 9,000 square feet. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this 14th day of July 2015.
