CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO, 81-7
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AMENDMENT NO. ONE
TO THE TRANSFER AGREEMENT FOR THE SEWARD PORT FACILITY
FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Seward and the Alaska Department of Transpor-
tation and Public Facilities executed on October 1, 1980, a Transfer of
Responsibilities Agreement for the development of a port facility within
the Seward Marine Industrial Park at Fourth of July Creek; and
WHEREAS, the voters of Alaska in November 1980, approved general
obligation bonds which included $4,500,000 to be used in the development of
the port facility within the Seward Marine Industrial Park at Fourth of July
Creek; and
WHEREAS, the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities
desires to transfer these bond funds to the City of Seward, less 0,35% for
State administration costs; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council feels it is in the public interest
to accept the transfer of the bond funds through amendment of the
October 1, 1980, Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement between the City and
the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, that:
