Proposed language by Crites and Baclaan
First motion
"mandates the use of cloth face coverings in essential businesses and locations where you are unable to
maintain a 6 foot of separation from others like the Post office or grocery store or other essential business.
The City Of Seward considers this a self governing mandate with no penalties or fines. Recent research
has shown viral trail can extend to more than 6 feet while exercising or during physical exertion citizens
are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering when participating in these types of activities."
If the first motion fails this would be the proposed replacement language.
"The CDC State and local authorities all strongly recommend the use of cloth face coverings while in
locations where you are unable to maintain a 6 foot distance from others like the post office or grocery
store."
