Purpose:
Set PACAB goals calendar for 2021, and discuss the economic development recovery
from the pandemic.

Cory Borgeson introduced the new utility manager, Robert Montgomery to the board.
Schneider also noted Jason Bickling—Chamber of Commerce and Christy Terry—Alaska Railroad were
pulled in as panelists via Zoom so questions and discussions could be had, if needed.
Jaffa had technical problems could not make communications work, he left the work session at 12:05
p.m.
3rd Feb—Approve priorities, update on progress heat pump rebate. Feb Agenda - add discuss economic
development and recovery from pandemic.
Feb 17 SMIC Overlay.
Wilde suggested she comes to a work session.
Point to HPC that PACAB would like to do a meeting in later half of the year for Historic Overlay.
Alaska Renewable Energy would be great for education priority for Feb 17.
March Meetings:
3rd March—Review Harbor Tariff(storage pricing at SMIC & annual increases)
17t'March - update seward boat harbor plan
Council joint work session—March 8th, 5:15 pm
Aril Meetings:
7 April—review the vessel property tax and provide recommendation to Council, update from climate
ad hoc committee with climate action plan
21"April - Discuss water and wastewater infrastructure, provide input on CIP
May Meetings:
5t' May—update on progress on the interconnect policy and installations of demo systems highlighting
renewable & alternative energy systems, set goal calendar for second half of the year
19t' May—blue pipline initiative
June thru August board consensus for hiatus with climate action ad hoc continuing.
October work session joint work session with P&Z
