RESOLUTION NO. 156
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OPENING OF A SAVINGS ACCOUNT TO
CONTAIN PART OF THE CUSTOMER'S DEPOSITS FUNDS OF THE SEWARD
WATER SYSTEM.
BE IT RESOLVED that a savings account to be known as Water Deposits
Savings Account shall be established with The First National Bank
of Anchorage, Seward Branch, and that said Bank is hereby instructed
to honor the signatures of Ray F. James as Acting City Manager,
Beatrice E. Watts as City Clerk and Murl Trevethan as Acting Manager
of the Public Utilities for all withdrawals on this savings account.
An emergency is hereby declared to exist and the rules gOTerning
the passage of ordinances and resolutions are hereby suspended and
this Resolution is hereby given immediate effect upon its passage
and approval.
Passed and approved this 29th day of June, 1960.

REGULATIONS FOR PERMIT HOLDERS
UNDER (GARBAGE & REFUSE) ORDINANCE No. 298
I. No person, company. firm or other entity shall use the City Dump of Seward without a
permit from the City Manager or an approved contract with the City of Seward authorizing
such use.
2. Any user of the City Dump shall identify himself and show his permit when requested by
any City Official or the person holding the Garbage Disposal Contract.
3. All material shall be dumped in the open trench along with or adjacent to the latest fill
unless otherwise directed.
4. After dumping, all papers and other inflamable material shall be burned. This area is in
general quite safe but due regard shall be exercised to prevent spread of any such fire.
S. All material authorized for transport to the City Dump shall be so secured as to prevent
the littering of the streets, road and countryside and any accidental or inadvertent litter-
ing shall be cleaned up by and at the expense of the person.
