BE IT RlSOLVED that Section 10.303 of the Seward. Code
shall be hereby enlarged to authorise the reading of the oustomer's electricity
meters once every three months, on or about February 15, Ma.::r 15, August 15
and NOTaber 15, to bill for an est:iJlla.ted average BlOnthly consum.ption on each
of the intervening months, and to alee any adjustments for oTer-estiJllated or
under-est:iJlla.ted bills on the bill computed from the meter reading, taking due
cognisance of any minimUll1 charge required b::r Section 10.304 of the Code of
Orclinances.
Monthly readings are to be continued for the following type of customer or
as de...d necessary b::r the Oity Kallager for the efficient billing and collection
of accounts:
1. For new customers, including old. custOll8rs who mOTe to a
new location, \Ultil a.n average consUllption is .stablished.
2. For transient and slow accounts.
3. For seasoDally fluctuating enterprises.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect iJIImediately upon passage and
approval.
