CALL TO ORDER
The June 5,2013 meeting of the Port and Commerce Advisory Board was called to order at
12:03 p.m. by Deborah Altermatt.
OPENING CEREMONY
The group pledged allegiance to the flag.

SPECIAL ORDERS,PRESENTATIONS AND REPORTS
1. Rail Road report, Louis Bencardino-
The Dock had hosted 24 ships including 5 cruise ships 1 coal ship and a pipe ship. The
annual. Combat Fishing Tourney had taken place and gone well. Planned development on
Railroad property was progressing.
2. Harbor-Master Report, Funk—
The Avtec Dorm project was described that,will block 3 rd avenue intermittently in Late July.
D float renovation was moving forward.

Motion (Schaefermeyer/Fink) Resolution 2013-01, Recommending the
Revision of the 2013 Harbor Tariff to
eliminate the requirement for passenger
fees for students that are part of a
classroom group.

Motion To Table Passed Unanimously
Motion (Schaefermeyer/Oliver) Resolution 2013-03 recommending changes.
to the.harbor tariff to specify that reserved
slips will be offered to wait list customers
twice a year and to establish that new wait
list customers can be offered reserved slips
if all senior wait list customers have already
been offered a reserved slip

BOARD C OMMENT S
Oliver thanked the Railroad for their donation of space for the Combat Fishing Tournament.
Schaefermeyer reminded all of world Ocean Day coming up in Mid June.
Altermatt reported that National Marina Day was the Whand a sail boat race sponsored by the Yacht
Club had been organized.
ADJOURNMENT
