RESOLUTION NO. 273
BE IT RESOLVED by The Common Council of the City of Seward,
Alaska, that pursuant to an invitation to submit bids, which
invitations were properly published and advertised, the afore-
said City Council, did at a regular meeting of the said Council
held in Seward, Alaska, at 8:00 p.m., August 6, 1962, open and
tabulate the bids for the furnishing of material and the per-
formance of certain improvements to the water system of said
City as outlined in said advertised specifications. This
project being the same project known as PFL - Alaska- 118.
NOW THEREFORE, in view of the fact that the low, acceptable
bid within the money available is as follows:

$64,410.00 less the deduction for the
pressure control and chlorination
station on Marathon Mt. (Schedule III,
Item 2) in the amount of $25,000.00 .

For a total Bid Award of . . . . . . .
The tentative award of such bid to Inlet Mechanical, Inc.,
Anchorage, Alaska, for the furnishing of material and perform-
ance of work as set out aforesaid is hereby made subject to
the approval of Housing and Home Finance Agency and the furnish-
ing of satisfactory performance bond.
It is requested that $4,400.00 shown as Contingency Fund in
the Housing & Home Finance Agency allocation be transferred to
the Construction Fund, with the understanding that the aforesaid
City Council pledges the funds of the City of Seward for the pay-
ment of any contingency properly authorized by said City Council
above the total authorized project cost.
