Agenda Item: Discuss the Heat Loop Ad Hoc Committee and Project Updates
Background and justification:
Since its formation earlier this year, the Heat Loop Ad Hoc Committee has been hard at work to
investigate possible funding mechanisms to advance the Heat Loop Project. The committee has
continued discussions with Your Clean Energy after Action Memorandum 2022-003 was passed by
City Council on July 11. Members of the Ad Hoc Committee will be in attendance for this Port and
Commerce Advisory Board Regular meeting to provide a project update on funding mechanisms.
