Effects of Proposed STR Regulations:
Will NOT affect existing Short-term rental operations now or in the future as long as they
continue to operate.
All short-term rentals in Residential Zoning Districts (RR, R1, R2, R3, UR) must be owner
occupied (no whole house rentals).
Whole house nightly rentals will not be allowed in Single-family dwellings in all zoning
districts.
Whole house nightly rentals will be allowed in principally Commercial Zoning Districts (OR, AC,
HC, CB) in duplexes, multi -family dwellings, apartments, condominiums, and townhomes.
Insurance will be required from all Short-term rental operators.
A permit and application fee will be required for each separate rental listing.
