r~SOLUTION NO. 392
lnmREAS the Small Dusiness Administration of the Department of
Commerce, in recognition of the need for immediate financing in the
City of Seward, Alaska, has established in the City of Seward, Alaska,
a field office under the direction of ~tt. John Pace; and
lnmr~AS this City has been honored twice with visits of ~~.
Eugene p. Foley, Administrator of said Small Dusiness Administration,
made in the interests of the City and the citizens of Seward; and
lfrmrJ&AS there have been actively instituted many loans to
individuals and firms to aid in recovery from the disaster of
lwrch 27, 19G4, and these loans have been so instituted under the
good supervision of the Small Dusiness Administration;
NOH, nIEP.EFOr.E, DE IT r~SOLVED by the COll1l11On Council of the
City of Seward that this Resolution of appreciation be extended to
LIre Eugene p. Foley, Administrator, Small Lusiness Administration,
Uashington, D.C., and to i~. John Pace, now of the Sellard Office of
the Small Dusiness Administration, expressing the deep appreciation
of this Council and the citizens of Se~lard for their lyork and their
concern for the welfare of the citizens of Seward.
It is directed that a copy of this Resolution be placed l~th
the Secretary of Commerce, the President of the United States, and
appropriate news media.
PASSED .AND APPROVED by the COU'lUOn Council of the City of
Seward this 15th day of June, 19G4.
