Below is verbatim from the Charter regarding eligibility for elective office in the City of Seward.
Below that I have provided my recommended revision to§2.30.210(A). I believe my suggested
language is much clearer to that proposed in the revisions to the Planning&Zoning code and
would provide the intended result. Thanks.

2.2- Eligibility for elective office.
To be eligible to file for election to a city office a person shall be an elector of the city and shall
have resided in the city or territory annexed to the city continuously for a period of not less than
one year immediately preceding the date of filing.
§2.30.210(A).Composition. There is created the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission,
