Dear Tammy,
I am writing to express my interest in applying for the position of City Clerk. Since being hired as
the Deputy City Clerk in December of 2021, 1 have enjoyed working with the City Clerk on a
wide variety of duties and complex issues. I am closing in on my Certified Municipal Clerk (CIVIC)
and will have enough points to obtain my CIVIC after completing "Professional Development 2"
training in June.
My resume is enclosed with this letter to provide further information about my work
experience and education.
Thank you for your consideration,
Rch
