RESOLUTION NO. 479
BE IT RESOLVED that the following named persons who are
residents of The City of Seward, shall be and are hereby
named to serve on the CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE under 'the
Workable Program of the Seward Urban Renewal Project
Alaska R-2l, to serve without term at the pleasure of the
Mayor and City Council:
David A. Blume, who shall be
Chairman; Phil S. Durant; William L. Brattain; Dorothy K.
Urbach; Herman E. Leirer; Raymond A. Gillespie; Richard E.
Moll; Donald L. Maij Raymond C. Anderson and Ralph W. Hatch.
The Mayor and City Manager shall be ex-officio members of
said Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: (1) the duties of said CITIZENS
ADVISORY COMMITTEE shall be to assist the City Manager and
the City Council by representing and becoming a focal point
for all significant community interests including minority
groups as required by the Workable Program of the Seward Urban
Renewal Project, (2) regular meetings shall be held once
each month at a time and date to be determined by the Committee
and approved by the City Manager. Special meetings shall be
called by the Chairman or the City Manager as necessary.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately
upon passage and approval.
