The Seward Parks and Recreation Department

activities for our community members and
visitors. Sports & Rec strives to improve the quality
of life and the physical and mental well-being of
every community member. Through positive
recreational, fitness opportunities and
partnerships. We assess and answer community
recreation needs. Sports and Recreation serves as
a liaison between AVTEC students and the
community through sports, creative arts and
social activities.

The Seward Parks and Recreation Teen Room is
dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive
space for all teens in Seward, Alaska. Our mission is to
foster a positive environment where teens can come
together, connect, and grow. With consistent hours of
operation and enriching weekly programming, we aim to
inspire creativity, promote personal development, and
build a sense of community. We are committed to
offering a space where every teen feels valued,
supported, and empowered.
