BOARDS & COMMISSIONS VACANCIES Historic Preservation Commission City Council is seeking applications from those interested in serving on the Historic Preservation Commission. There are two seats expiring at the end of May 2025. These terms are for three years and will expire May 2028. The commission meets four times a year, typically on a designated Thursday in January, May, September, and November. Application forms are available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the city website at www.cityofseward.us. Completed application forms must be filed with the City Clerk. The appointments will be made at the Tuesday, May 27, 2025 City Council meeting. Port & Commerce Advisory Board (PACAB) City Council is seeking applications from those interested in serving on PACAB. There is one seat available for a resident inside city limits with a term expiring in July 2026. PACAB meets on the third Wednesday of each month at noon. There are no PACAB meetings during the months of June, July, and August. Application forms are available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the city website at www.cityofseward.us.
