The following Resolution was approved:
Resolution 2025-022, of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Seward, Alaska, recommending
Kenai Peninsula Borough approval of the preliminary plat of 213 Fifth Avenue, vacating the interior lot line and
creating one lot
Other items:
The June 3, 2025 Planning & Zoning Minutes were approved.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Seward City Council will conduct public hearings on the following items
of business at a regular meeting on Monday, July 14, 2025:
Ordinance 2025-010: Amending Seward City Code §15.10.220 and Table 15.10.222 Development Requirements
Regarding the Language and Regulations Pertaining to Building Height
Copies of public hearing documents are available for review at City Hall
BOARDS & COMMISSIONS VACANCIES
Historic Preservation Commission
City Council is seeking applications from those interested in serving on the Historic Preservation Commission.
There is one seat available on the commission. This term is set to expire May 2028. The commission meets four
times a year, typically on a designated Thursday in January, May, September, and November.
Application forms are available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the city website at www.cityofseward.us.

Port & Commerce Advisory Board (PACAB)
City Council is seeking applications from those interested in serving on PACAB. There is one seat available for a
resident inside city limits with a term expiring in July 2026. PACAB meets on the third Wednesday of each month
at noon. There are no PACAB meetings during the months of June, July, and August.
Application forms are available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the city website at www.cityofseward.us
