RESOLUTION NO. 629
BE IT RESOLVED that RONALD E. FOX and GWENDOLYN I, FOX be and are
hereby required to file plans and specifications on or before JUly
15. 1967 for the restaurant-cocktail 10ul\ge building which they
propose to construct on Lot 1 in Block 1 of the Marina SUbdivision
in The City of Seward, and if this is not accomplished, that the
offer to lease said land shall be and is hereby rejected as of that
date: and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said plans and specifications shalls
1. conform to the general description supplied by Mr. pOx as
being an att:ractive, high quality, two story buildil\9 with cafe
downstairs and restaurant-cocktail lounge upstairs similar to some
sketches shown to the City officials prior to May 1, 1967, which
would enhance the development and appearance of the area, and might
cost around $100,000-$125.000,
2. Conform to the City of Seward Building Code, Electrical
Code, Plumbing Code, Fire Safety code and to the General Commercial
District requirements of the ZOning ordinance of The City of Seward,
including Section 14_A. and Section 14.8.7. of said Zoning Ordinance1
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council hereby declares that the
intent of this Resolution is to establish a deadline for filing
said plans and specifications and to set forth the basic requirements,
but in no way to restrict. or limit the Council's authority and pre-
rogative as owner of the land to require reasonable alterations of
said plans and specifications.
This Resolution shall be effective on the date of passage and
approval. Passed and approved by the city Council of The city of
