Appeal of the Planning & Zoning Approval of Resolution 2025-035
GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO THE TUFTED PUFFIN LLC TO OPERATE A DRIVE-THRU WINDOW TO
SELL RETAIL CANNABIS PRODUCTS AND NON - CANNABIS FOOD AND BEVERAGE ITEMS FROM THEIR BUSINESS
LOCATED AT 408 PORT AVENUE WITHIN AN AUTO COMMERCIAL (AC) ZONING DISTRICT
Please do NOT communicate with the Mayor or any Council member about this appeal. The City Council is
performing a quasi-judicial function because this is an appeal in which every party is entitled to a neutral decision
maker and fair procedures.
BOARDS & COMMISSIONS VACANCIES
Historic Preservation Commission
City Council is seeking applications from those interested in serving on the Historic Preservation Commission.
The commission meets four times a year, typically on a designated Thursday in January, May, September, and
November. There is one seat available on the commission with a term set to expire May 2028. At least four seats
shall be filled by residents inside Seward city limits. If there are no city residents applying, council may consider
filling the seats with non-residents.
Port & Commerce Advisory Board (PACAB)
City Council is seeking applications from those interested in serving on PACAB. The board meets on the third
Wednesday of each month at noon. There are no PACAB meetings during the months of June, July, and August.

There is one seat available with a term expiring in July 2026 and one seat available with a term expiring in July
2028. At least four seats shall be filled by residents inside Seward city limits. If there are no city residents applying,
council may consider filling the seats with non-residents. Application forms are available in the Office of the City
Clerk and on the city website at www.cityofseward.us
