Expected monthly consumption and peak power of auxiliary loads. Operating losses will be evaluated at COS' cost per kW-hr The auxiliary load consumption is extremely temperature and Toad dependent. For worst case high temperature sites, we see up to 40kWh per clay but can be as low as 5kwh per day in cooler temperature climates where the system heats itself. The fuel source for heat can also change the auxiliary loads. 7. Control system specifications including interface data requirements, network parameters, and required communication protocols. The main requirement to have remote capabilities is internet connection. Communication parameters are dependent on the system we are connecting to. Modbus is the most common way to integrate, but we can integrate with any common industry SCADA system protocol. 8. Low and high voltage ride through capabilities, inverter protection EPC inverters have configurable low and high voltage ride through capabilities in their configurable settings. These settings will be set in the design phase based on project pa ra meters. 9. Decommissioning strategy and cost assumptions for battery disposal and equipment removal The end of life for Lithium -Ion Batteries is a shifting target that many energy storage systems need to evaluate as they embark on energy storage projects. Stationary Storage batteries usually have EOL state of health where they may not be appropriate for stationary storage applications anymore, but other downstream applications such as forklifts or bicycles may be able to utilize the technology for an additional 10 years. Kronus is committed to helping find a second life application, preferably locally, for batteries when they reach their End of Life for this project. 10. Description of proposer's ability to support islanding and black start scenarios Kronus has delivered multiple BESS systems capable of grid -following to allow for continued power in the event of a generator tripping offline and grid -forming operations to restore full power in "black start." Many of our systems deployed work seamlessly with generators and renewable power to ensure that the village is not lost without power.
