RESOLUTION NO. 841 ~ City Clerk-Treasurer
Whereas, the City of Seward has been deeded tax foreclosed pro-
perties from the K€nai Peninsula Borough, and
Whereas, the City desires to sell certain tax foreclosed proper-
ties at a sealed bid sale t::l be conducted on January 24, 1971,
and
Whereas, these properties are described as follows:
1. Lots 24 & 25, Block 10, Laubner Addition
2. Lots 26 thru 30, Block 10, Laubner Addition
3. Lot 1, Block 11, Cliff Addition
4. Lots 37 & 18, Block 28, Original Townsite
5. Lots 39 & 40, Block 24, OriElna! Townsite
6. Middle 1/3 of Lots 21 & 22, Block 13,
Original To\~~site
7. Lot 20, Block 13, Original Townsite
8. Lots 37 & 38, Block 3, Original Townsite
9. Lot 34 and South five(5) feet of Lot 35,
Block 9, Original To~~site
10. Lots 38, 39 & 40, Block 7, Original Townsite

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the Ci ty
of Seward, Alaska, thst th~ City Manager is hereby authorized
to offer the above d~scribed parcels for sale to the highest
bidder at a price !'lC)t less than the apprai.sed value as deter-
mined by the Eorough Asses::;,:iJ: of the ~:',cnai Peninsula Borough.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the terms of the sale shall
provide for a do~~ na}~lent of 20% of the bid amount and that
the balance may be paid over a per:Lod of five(5) years at
an interest ratn of: cight(P) per ~cnt on the unpaid balance,
AND, BE IT FUJ.TEER RESOLVED. that parcels offered for sale are
subject to repm:~hase ;J~7 the C";'i'J.r.~:':3 up to the day of the pro-
posed sale as provided by AS2J.IG.528.
The effective d::te of this ?.f!s,:,luticm is upon its passage and
approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City
of Seward, Alaska, that the City Manager is hereby authorized
to offer the above described parcels for sale to the highest
bidder at a orice not less than the appraised value as deter-
mined by the Borough Assessor of the Kenai Peninsula Borough.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the terms of the sale shall
provide for a down payment of 20% of the bid amount and that
the balance may be paid over a period of five(5) years at
an interest rate of eight(8) per cent on the unpaid balance,
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that parcels offered for sale are
subject to repurchase by the owners up to the day of the pro-
posed sale as provided by AS29.10.528.
The effective date of this Resolution is upon its passage and
approval.
