CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 81-51
A RESOLUTION AMENDING CITY OF SEWARD RESOLUTION NO. 81-39,
IDENTIFYING THE CAPITAL PROJECTS AND THE AMOUNT ALLOCATED
TO EACH PROJECT IN ACCORDANCE WITH HCS CSSB 168 (FINANCE)
1981 SESSION.
WHEREAS, HOS CSSB 168 (Finance) 1981 requires a resolution to
identify capital projects and the amount of money allocated to each
project, as well as the total entitlement for the City; and
WHEREAS, the City is entitled to receive $535 for each of the
1,843 people residing within the City boundaries for a total of
$986,005; and
WHEREAS, on September 14, 1981, the Seward City Council approved
Resolution No. 81-39, appropriating the State funds to various local
projects; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council wishes to amend those appro-
priations as cited in Resolution No. 81-39 by reducing the appropriation
for the 1981 Street Paving Improvements by $28,000, reducing the appro-
priation for the Seventh Avenue Greenbelt project by $43,000, adding
$3,000 for the Business District trash receptacles, and adding $68,000
for the Harbormaster's Office Renovation project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, THAT:
Section 1. The $986,005 received under the State Assistance for
Municipalities Program for the year 1981-82, is proposed to be expended
as follows:
1981 Street Paving Improvements
7th Avenue Greenbelt
Outdoor Sports Center
Public Restrooms
Business District Trash Receptacles
Small Boat Harbor Fish Cleaning Rack
Sidewalk Repairs
Harbormaster's Office Renovation

Section 2. This resolution takes effect immediately upon its
adoption.
