CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-133
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL
SALES TAX REVENUES TO SEWARD GENERAL HOSPITAL
WHEREAS, the city budgeted $450,000.00 in sales tax contributions to the hospital
for Fiscal Year 1994; and
WHEREAS, the hospital's one-third share of actual sales tax collections for Fiscal
Year 1994 totalled $494,635.10; and
WHEREAS, the city failed to appropriate an additional $6,641.48 of Fiscal Year
1993 sales tax revenues to the hospital at the end of FY 1993;
WHEREAS, the city wishes to appropriate the hospital's full share of sales tax
revenues for hospital operations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Forty-Four Thousand, Six Hundred Thirty-Five and
1O/100ths Dollars ($44,635.10) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Sales Tax
Revenues, Account No. 101-4210-0100, to the General Fund Operating Transfers for
Seward General Hospital, Account No. 101-3070-0301.
Section 2. The sum of Six Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-One and 48/100ths
Dollars ($6,641.48) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Fund Balance, Account
No. 101-3070, to the General Fund Operating Transfers for Seward General Hospital,
Account No. 101-3070-0301.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
25th day of July, 1994.
