Sponsored by: Schaefermeye.r CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 92-183 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER TO THE LAND FIELD SERVICES CONTRACT FOR ACQUISITION OF PERMITS FOR TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT PHASE IB WHEREAS, Land Field Services has provided permit acquisition services for Phase 18 of the Transmission Line Project; and WHEREAS, on July 27, 1992, the Council approved an increase of $9,420.00 to the LFSI contract for a total contract amount of $136,568.50 for the acquisition of certain permits; and WHEREAS, the amount of coordination for the acquisition of these permits was underestimated; and WHEREAS, it was necessary to file an amendment for the portion of the transmission line between Primrose and the Snow River to comply with a request by the United States Forest Service to use the existing right of way instead of a route which was originally requested as part of the city's permit request; and WHEREAS, additional funds totalling $3,993.07 are needed to complete the additional permit acquisition for Phase 18 of the transmission line project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a change order for the acquisition of certain permits for Phase 18 of the transmission line project in the amount of $3,993.07 for a total contract price of $140,561.57. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 16th day of November, 1992.
