CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 92-194
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE
KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH FOR THE DARE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Seward Police Department has received notification of a grant
award from the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District for the local D.A.R.E. program;
and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the grant, the school district will reimburse the city
for up to $1,000 for actual expenses incurred in administering the D.A.R.E. program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A $1,000 grant for administration of the D.A.R.E. program in Seward
schools is hereby accepted from the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District.
Section 2. The sum of $1,000 is hereby appropriated from Special Project Revenue
Account No. 122-4680-0900 to the DARE Special Revenue Fund Account No. 122-1225-
XXXX.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
28th day of December, 1992.
