RESOLUTION NO. 93-142
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE WATER TARIFF TO
PROVIDE MONTHLY AND ANNUAL FEES FOR FIRE HYDRANTS
WHEREAS, on May 11, 1992, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 92-113,
setting daily and weekly rates for use of city fire hydrants; and
WHEREAS, several utility customers have requested a monthly and/or annual rate
for fire hydrant use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Water Tariff, Group E (Special Rates and Fees), Number 2
(Fire Hydrant Use Permit), is hereby amended by adding the following:
PLUS monthly fee
PLUS yearly fee

Section 2. A copy of the amended Water Tariff Page 3-7 showing this change is
attached and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this
27th day of September, 1993.

Unauthorized Use of City Equipment

time charge of $1,400.00.
In excess of 60 feet - actual cost, but not less
