CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-073
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
REQUISITE TO THE CLOSING OF VARIOUS SPECIAL PROJECT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the related projects - Fund 221, Rails and Cradles;
Fund 258, MIP Claims Contingency; Fund 232, North SMIC Dock; and
Fund 211, SMIC utilities Extension - have been completed and need
to be closed; and
WHEREAS, restrictions on the expenses related to the SMIC
utilities Extension caused a deficit balance of $87,935.26 in the
total expenditures on these related projects; and
WHEREAS, a balance of $13,075.06 will remain in Fund 241, SMIC
Civil Expansion, as it is needed for an additional improvement at
the SMIC area; and
WHEREAS, revenue of $56,986.01 has been earned on project
overhead;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. To fund the completion of the SMIC projects, the
sum of Fifty-Six Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars and One
Cent ($56,986.01), earned through project overhead, is hereby
appropriated from General Fund Balance Transfer Account No. 101-
0000-3070 to Harbor Fund Balance Transfer Account No. 401-0000-
3070.
Section 2. The net balance of these related Funds, in the
amount of Fifty-Five Thousand, Nine Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and
Twenty-Five Cents ($55,949.25) is hereby appropriated from the
respective Funds and applied to the Harbor Fund Balance Transfer
Account No. 401-0000-3070.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 25th day of June, 1990.
