CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-122
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE HEAD START
USE AGREEMENT FOR THE 1991-92 PROGRAM YEAR
WHEREAS, the Seward Community Library has provided a facility
to house the local Head Start Program; and
WHEREAS, an eligible RurAL CAP community must provide local
support up to at least 25% of the local program budget; and
WHEREAS, each year the city is requested to execute a
Facilities Use Agreement which sets forth the local contribution;
and
WHEREAS, the Head Start Program provides a pre-school
education opportunity for children who otherwise could not
participate in a like program because of the family's economic
situation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the public
interest to continue to participate in this pre-school program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:

III. CITY/COMMUNITY PART
The city/community is responsible for supporting as close as
it can to 25% of what RurAL CAP provides. Twenty-five
