HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes2002-015 Sponsored by: Staff CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA PLANNING AND WNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2002-15 RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMIS- SION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH APPROVAL OF THE FOREST ACRES SUBDIVISION, WRIGHT REPLAT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS WHEREAS, Cline & Associates submitted a preliminary plat of Forest Acres Subdivision, Wright Replat to the City of Seward for review and recommendation to the Kenai Peninsula Borough; and WHEREAS, the subdivision replats Lots X and Y, Forest Acres Subdivision into three lots; and WHEREAS, the property is zoned Rural Residential which allows primarily single-family homes; and WHEREAS, the new lots meet the minimum lot size and width requirements ofthe Seward Zoning Code; and WHEREAS, Existing Municipal water, sewer, electric, and streets currently serve or are available to this property, there for a subdivision installation agreement is not required for this subdivision; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Seward City Code, the Commission held a public hearing on the preliminary plat at its April 9, 2002 regular meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission that: Section 1. The Commission recommends that the Kenai Peninsula Borough approve the Forest Acres Subdivision, Wright Replat subject to the subdivider meeting the following conditions: 1. Provide the utility easements identified on the preliminary plat, and the following additional easements: . Increase sewer easement on west lot line of Lot X-2 to 10 feet. .
