RESOLUTION NO. 2002-22
RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMIS-
SION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH APPROVAL
OF THE CLIFF ADDITION DIECKGRAEFF REPLAT, A
RESUBDIVISION OF: CLIFF ADDITION LOTS 11, 12 &13 BLOCK 8
AND CLIFF ADDITION REPLAT NO.1, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, Cline & Associates submitted a preliminary plat of the Cliff Addition
Dieckgraeff Replat, a Resubdivision of: Cliff Addition Lots 11, 12 & 13 Block 8 and Cliff
Addition Replat No. 1 to the City of Seward for review and recommendation to the Kenai
Peninsula Borough; and
WHEREAS, the subdivision divides a single parcel into three lots; and
WHEREAS, the property is zoned Urban Residential which allows a mix of residential
uses and low impact home professional offices; and
WHEREAS, the new lots meet the minimum lot size and width requirements of the
Seward Zoning Code; and
WHEREAS, existing right-of-way of Hulm Lane will be widened and Hulm Circle will
be dedicated to the City of Seward, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Seward City Code, the Commission held a public
hearing on the preliminary plat at its September 3, 2002 regular meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. The Commission recommends Kenai Peninsula Borough approval of the
Cliff Addition Dieckgraeff Replat, a Resubdivision of: Cliff Addition Lots 11, 12 & 13 Block 8
and Cliff Addition Replat No. 1 subject to the following conditions:
1. Subdivider must enter into a subdivision installation agreement with the City of
Seward prior to final approval of the plat, as per Seward City Code 16.05.015; and
2. Provide the utility easements identified on the preliminary plat; and
3. Dedicate right-of-way to the City of Seward to widen Hulm Lane and create Hulm
Circle, as shown on the preliminary plat; and
