RESOLUTION 2003-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA
BOROUGH APPROVAL OF LOT 25 & THE EAST 1/2 OF LOTS 26
& 27, BLOCK 14, ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF SEWARD, SHEA
REPLAT
WHEREAS, Cline & Associates submitted to the City of Seward for review and
recommendation to the Kenai Peninsula Borough, a preliminary plat consisting of Lot 25
& the East 1/2 of Lots 26 & 27, Block 14, Otiginal Townsite of Seward, Shea Replat; and
WHEREAS, this platting action creates a lot of approximately 5,992 square feet;
and
WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1, Single Family Residential; and
WHEREAS, the new lot meets the minimum lot size and width requirement of
the Seward City Code; and
WHEREAS, the property is currently serviced by municipal water, sewer and
electric; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering and Utilities Department has stated that a
subdivision agreement is not required for this subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. The Commission recommends that the Kenai Peninsula Borough
approve Lot 25 & the East 1/2 of Lots 26 & 27, Block 14, Original Townsite, Shea
Replat, subject to the following conditions:
1. A ten (10) foot wide utility easement centered on the existing electrical line
servicing the West Y, of Lot 26, Block 14, Original Townsite of Seward shall
be added to the plat notes.
2. A ten (10) foot wide utility easement centered on the existing sewer line
servicing the West Y, of Lots 26 & 27, Block 14, Original Townsite of Seward
shall be added to the plat notes.
