CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 468
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PARAGRAPHS OF THE PERSONNEL
REGULATIONS AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 17 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF SEWARD
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 703.3 of Chapter 17 of the Seward City
Code of Ordinances is hereby added to read as follows:
Section 703.3 FORM OF EVALUATION
Form will be a letter from the Rating Officer which states that
the employeds performance has been discussed with the employee.
This letter will be signed by the Rating Officer and employee.
This letter will be accepted as evidence of satisfactory perform-
ance.
The only deviation from this procedure will be in the case of
outstanding or unsatisfactory performance. Performance of
• this nature will be explained in full. In the case of
unsatisfactory performance the Rating Officer will also make
written comment as to remedial action and the employee will
be allowed to add comments.
Section 2. Section 1007.1 of Chapter 17 of the Seward City
Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as follows:
Section 1007.1 TIMING OF USE
Employees who are entitled to accrue annual leave upon
satisfactory completion of probationary period, shall receive
credit for annual leave accrued since date of appointment.
Leave shall be due and usable upon completion of probationary
period.
Section 3. This ordinance takes effect 10 days after enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
9th day of October , 1978.
