ORDINANCE NO. 544
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, TO ACQUIRE AND OPERATE PUBLIC HEALTH
FACILITIES INCLUDING SEWARD GENERAL HOSPITAL

construction of the Hospital; and

The City Council do not, by this ordinance, intend
to restrict or 1im t the authority of SGHA to
continue existing pro rams and policies including,
but not limited to: a) promotion of public in-
volvement in and concern for health care within the
community; (b) encouragem t of charitable donations
to the Hospital; (c) auxil ry and volunteer activ-
ities; or (d) the power to h 1d and manage assets.
Section 2. The City of Seward accepts the assets and assumes
the liabilities of the Hospital as more completely set forth in the
year-end financial reports as of June 30, 1 85.
