CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 604
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SECTION 14-85.1 OF THE
SEWARD CITY CODE REGULATING PARKING WITHIN
THE SEWARD MUNICIPAL BOAT HARBOR
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, HEREBY
ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Section 14-85.1 of the Seward City Code 1S
hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 14-85.1. [Off-street] Parking within the
Seward Municipal Boat Harbor. (a) Short-term
parking areas. Parking is permitted in the area
designated for short-term parking for a period not
to exceed [seventy-two (72)] one hour[s] in dura-
tion. [All vehicles parked longer than seventy-
two (72) hours are subject to impound pursuant to
Section 17-171.1.]
(b) Intermediate term parking areas. Parking
is permitted in areas designated for intermediate
term parking for a period not to exceed twelve
(12) hours in duration. No camper vehicles or
trailers of any kind are permitted to park within
these designated area.
[b] (c) Long-term parking areas. Parking is
permitted in areas designated for long-term park-
ing for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days.
[All vehicles parked longer than thirty (30) days
are subject to impound pursuant to Section 14-
171. ]
(d) Loading zone. Parking is permitted in
the ar,eas designated as a loadin~ zone for a
period not to exceed thirty (30) m1nutes for the
purpose of loading or unloading persons and/or
equipment.
