CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 665
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAPS
OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, Chapter 2.30.225 of the city code indicates that the
Planning and Zoning Commission should review the Comprehensive Plan
annually and to forward any recommended changes to the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the Land Use Plan is a part of the Comprehensive
Plan; and
WHEREAS, on November 6, 1991, the Planning and Zoning
Commission held public hearings ; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendments generally reflect community
development direction and provide for additional flexibility in
land uses.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Using the fOllowing abbreviations, in accordance
with Section 15.01.035, the Seward Land Use Plan maps are hereby
amended as described.
UR - Urban Residential
R1 - Single Family Residential
R2 - Two Family Residential
R3 - Multi-family Residential
OR - Office Residential
AC - Auto Commercial
CBD - Central Business District
INS - Institutional
I - Industrial
P - Park
RM - Resource Management
