ORDINANCE NO. 94-28
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SEWARD CITY CODE
§ 2.30.112, CHANGING THE TIME OF THE REGULAR
COMMUNITY HOSPITAL BOARD MEETING
WHEREAS, the Seward Community Hospital Board has requested that the Council
consider a Code amendment which would allow the Board to meet at 5:00 p.m. rather than 7:00
p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that this change in meeting time will be more
convenient for the Board, administration and medical staff; and
WHEREAS, it has been further determined that the public will not be adversely affected
by the change in meeting time;
Is NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Seward City Code § 2.30.112 (a) is hereby amended to read as follows:
2.30.112 Meetings and quorum.
A. The community hospital board shall meet at 5:00 p.m. in the city
council chambers on the first Monday of each month. Special meetings may be
held at the call of the chairman and at such other times as the board may
determine.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
