ORDINANCE NO. 423
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 5-80.1 OF THE SEWARD
CODE, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE SEWARD MUNICIPAL SMALL BOAT HARBOR.
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 5-80.1, Service Fees, is hereby
repealed and re-enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 5-80.1 Service Fees.
(a) Moorage:

(b) Transient Moorage Alongside Floats:
(1) Vessels thirty-two feet (32' ) and
under, second and subsequent days: $2.00 per day
(2) Vessels thirty-three feet (33') to
sixty-four feet (64'), second and subsequent
days:
$4.00 per day
(3) Vessels sixty-five feet (65') to
eighty-five feet (85'), second and subsequent
days:
$6.00 per day
(4) Vessels over eighty-six feet (86'),
second and subsequent days:
$8.00 per day
(c) Electrical Access Service Fee:
Vessels mooring at slips having electrical
power shall connect to the electric system.
(d) Meter Deposits:
A meter deposit shall be collected from any
patron who connects to the electrical power system.

(e) Services by Harbor Personnel:
Ordinary services by harbor personnel may
be rendered by agreement with the harbor master. The
charge for these services shall be such as to compensate
the City for time and materials expended, plus reason-
able overhead expenses. The harbor master may require
any deposit or payment in advance of furnishing any
ordinary services. Emergency services may be rendered
by harbor personnel at any time, and without agreement,
and charges assessed in the same manner as for ordinary
services.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance takes effect January 1, 1977.
Passed and approved by the City Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, this 13th day of September , 197~.
