AN ORDINANCE REPEALDiG SECTION 10.002 (e). relating to the disposal
of rubbish, and REENACTING SECTION 10.002 (e) establishi.Dg responsibilitY'
for dUlllping rubbish in anY' place other than that designated bY' the City
in the CitY' Dump Area.
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA.. ORDUIS:
That Section 10(t2 (e) of the Seward General Code be and the ;'JaIIle
is herebY' repealed.
That a new section, designated as Section 10.002 (e) be enacted
as follows:
(e) Industrial or building wastes, tree and ;yard triDmings, dirt,
rock, gravel, junk ears and like material maY' be hauled to the CitY'
Dump without the securing ot a permit or the pa1JllElnt of a fee. provided
said material or rubbish so enumerated above -Y' be dUlllped in the place
_rked and designated bY' the Cit,. and in no other place. Any person
who shall dUlllp silid material or rubbish in anY' other place shall be subject
to the penalties set out in Section 10.llO of the Seward General Code.
Publication of this ordinance shall be b,. posting a copy hereof
on the CitY' Hall bulletin board for a period of ten daY's following its
passage and approval.
First Reading: June 3, 1963
Second Reading: June 17, 1963
Passed and apprond, 'by the CitY' Council of the CitY' of Seward,
Alaska, this 2nd day of JulY', 1963.
