.AN ORDIN.bNCE TO .AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 180 TO CONFORM WITH THE LAWS OF THE
2 TERRITORY OF ALASKA AS SAID LAWS WERE AMENDED IN THE 1953 SESSION OF THE
3 LEGISLATURE OF THE TERRITORY OF AIASKA.
4 BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the City of Seward, TeITitol"'J
5 of Alaska.

7 SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 180 is hereby
8 amended to read as follows: That there shall be a genere1. annue1. lJity
9 election in the City of seward, Territory of p].aska, on the first Tuesday
loin October of each year for the purpose of electing such officers of the
II City of Seward as are now, or which may hereafter be by the laws of the
12 II Territory of AlaSka, and the Ordinances of the said City of Seward, designated
13 ~ and made elective; also for the purpose of electing a member of the school
14 II board of the Seward, Alaska, School District.

16 SECTION 2. Section 5 of ordinance No. 180 is hereby aended to read as [01-
17 lows I It shall be the duty of the Municipal Clerk, :i.llmediately upon the
18 I passage, approval and taking effect of this Ordinance, to procure and prepare

19 I' for the registration of the voters of the said City of Seward, an original

20 registration book, and on or before the first Monda;y of <#~ of each year
21 hereafter to procure and prepare a like book for registration.

23 SECTION 3. Section 7 of Ordinance No. 180 is hereby amended to read as fol-

25 I said Municipal Clerk. Immedietely after the taking effect of this Ordinance,

11 of the City of Seward, the 8th day of September, 1953.
