ORDINANCE NO. 296
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4.201 OF THE SEWARD GENERAL CODE DEALING WITH
PENALTIES FOR FAILING TO LICENSE COIN-OPERATED AMUSEMENT OR MUSICAL DEVICES.
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. That Section 4.201 of the Seward General Code be amended
to read as follows:
Section 4.201.
PENALTIES.
Every person who maintains for use or permits the use of, on any place
or premises occupied by him, a coin-operated amusement or musical device, shall
comply with all of the laws of the State of Alaska pertaining to the licensing
thereof. Failure of every person who so maintains for use, or permits the use
of, on any place or premises occupied by him, to comply with the licensing laws
of the State of Alaska relating to such devices shall be a violation of this
ordinance, and every Jlueh<>person shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
subject to a fine of not more than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) or im-
prisonment for not more than thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
Publication of this ordinance shall be by posting a copy hereof on
the City Hall bulletin board for a period of ten days following its passage
and approval.
An emergency is hereby declared to exist and the rules governing
the passage of ordinances and resolutions are hereby suspended and this
oTd{n.ric.' is hereby given immediate effect upon its passage and approval.
