An Ordinance rrohibi tine the ;:lrivin..:; of md 18 or other metal
substanoes in any awninC posta, lamp posts, teler-hone poles, eleo-
tric light poles, or the plaoi~g thereon of ~ny rlaoards or eigna
in and upon thestreets and alleys or thouroughfares of the Town
of Se~ard: DroviJin~ for a penalty for a vio:atiDS thereof, and
other matters properly relating thereto.
It shall be unlawful for any person or pel'sona to drive
any nails, tacks, Br:re'NB, or any metal 3uDstc1.nC'" of ccny }:1'nd into
any awning post, 1amr post, teleptone poles, electrio li~ht poles;
or to tack, paste or place thereon any signs or placards, devise
or advertising mat~er, within the incorrorated limits of the Town
of Seward, AIa8ka, without having received permission from the
proper authorities.
Any person or persons violatinc the prov1aions hereof shull

be deemed e;uil ty of a misdemeanor and upon)\conviction for any
such violation shall be fined therefor a sum of not leas than
five dollars ('~5.00) find not more than t'i1enty-five dollars ('~25,OO)
bea~des the coats of 8uch prosection.
This Ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of
ita passage and aprrcval.
