BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CO~,';'O;'T COU:WIL OF TFE CITY OF SE'~TAF.D,ALASKA.
That whereas the common council of the City of Seward,Alaska
did on the 16th. day of Ootober 1916 attel1;rt to pass an ordinance,
n entitledj"An ordinance granting to the United states of America a II
franohise to ocoupy a 1-'art of Railway Avenue for Railroad Purposes,"
la.ying tracks tracks and s\V1tches thereon.and closing the same from"
n other traffic," And,whereas.the said Common Council of the City of
Seward,Alaska,has and at that time had no rower to pass said ordinanoe
and said ordinance beins wholy void and of no effect,therefor,in order
that the City "of Seward may not be hereafter embarressed or that
the question of estopal may not be raised asainat the City on account
of having long a.cquiesed therein, the said common council of the
City of Seward Alaska,EFRFBY DOES DISAVOV',EEITOUNCE AND DISAFFIF.M
