ORDINANCE NO. 89
AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A SCHOOL TiC{ COLLEC1DR FOR THE CITY OF Sn.fARD, ALASKA,
FOR THE YEAR 1926.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE CONMON COUNCIL OF THE CITI' OF SL'v.fARD. ALASKA:
Section 1. That persuant to and in accordance with the requirements of
Chapter 29 of the Session Laws of the Territor! of Alaska for the year 1919,
entitled HAn act to impose a Tax upon Male persons in the Territory of Alaska
for School purpo~es. Providing means for its collection, and declaring an
Emergency,H as amended by the Act of May 2, 1921, and by virtue of the pro-
visions in said Act contained, , a resident of
said City of Seward, and a citizen of t'h; Un-i ted 31:;"'1:'e's' 'o[-Arrerica, is hereby
appointed and is declared to be the School Tax Collector for the City of
Seward, Alaska for the year 1926, and upon qualifications of said person by
furnishinq a good and Eufficient bond in accordance with law, all conditions,
provisions and requiren~nts of said Acts shall be carried out and enforced
as by the law required in the collection of said School Tax.
An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take
effect from and after its passage and approval.
Passed under the suspension of the rules this 19th day of April, 1926.
