AN Jl~DlNANCE APPOINTING A SChOOL TAC COLLECTOR FOR THE TJ1..!N 'OF SE,TARD, ALASKA,
FOR ThE YEAR 1938.
BE IT ORDAINL:D BY TEE CO~WDN CDuNCH OF ThE To.,.,TN OF SU,.,TARD, ALASKA:
Section 1. That pursuant to and in accordance with the requirements of
Chapter 29 of the session Laws of Alaska, for the year 1919, entitled An act
to impose a Tax upon male persons in the Territory of Alaska for school
purposes, providing means for its collection and declaring an emergency" as
amended by an act of !~y 2nd, 1921 of said act contained.
E. D. Webb, a resident of the Town of Seward, Alaska, and a citizen of thel
United states of America; Is hereby appointed and is declared to be the
School Tax collector for the Town of Seward, Alaska, for the year 1938, and UPO\
qualification of said person by furnishing good and sufficient bond in accord-
ance with the Law, all conditions, provisions and requirements of said act
shall be carried out and enforced as by law regulated and required in collect- I
lon of said school tax, I
Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall I
take effect after its passage< and approval.
Passed under suspension of the Rules, this 7th day March, 1938.
